For generations, missions have been part of the heart of Abundant Life Church. Our church family has prayed, given, gone, built, served, and shared the love of Jesus with people both close to home and around the world.

The stories and photos on this page represent just a small part of that history. In the years following Hurricane Katrina, members of our church served communities in Mississippi and New Orleans through disaster relief, providing meals, distributing supplies, cleaning damaged homes and schools, and helping families rebuild. In 2006, a team of teenagers and adults returned to New Orleans, serving at the Good News Camp and helping provide nearly 1,000 meals each day to residents, volunteers, and those experiencing homelessness.

That heart extended beyond our borders as well. In 2007, a team from Abundant Life Christian School traveled to the Dominican Republic, where they served children and families, shared the Gospel, and helped construct a new church building for a local congregation.

But missions isn't just part of our history. It's still part of who we are.

Today, Abundant Life continues to give generously to missions and serve people locally and globally. The places and methods may change, but the heart remains the same: to bring Christ's hope and healing to people wherever God gives us the opportunity.

We are grateful for those who went before us, and we're committed to carrying that legacy forward.
