Nearly seventy years ago, a small group of believers gathered in Wilmington with a simple desire to help people encounter Jesus. What began as a humble faith community has grown into the church family we now call Abundant Life.

At Abundant Life, we are passionate about helping people find and follow Jesus. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to experience the hope and healing that only Jesus can bring. Our heart is to create an environment where people can connect with God and one another, discover their God-given purpose, and together make a difference in our world.

Through every decade, we have seen God’s faithfulness. Lives have been changed, families strengthened, and generations shaped by the gospel. As we look ahead, we carry that same mission forward with expectancy, trusting that God is still writing the story of this church and that the best chapters are yet to come.
