We know Abundant Life as many things, a School, a Church, or a spiritual home. Our fifth Senior Pastor, Pastor Ron, will be stepping down after the next year after serving the kingdom since 1990.
It’s a big moment for Abundant Life and what will that look like?
Pastor Ron will continue to lead and serve for the coming year. We are in the process of searching for candidates for the next Senior Pastor. After we have selected a candidate, Pastor Ron will be working with them directly for the next year, helping them learn the ropes and become familiar with new and existing communities.

What does the process for picking the Senior Pastor look like?
The Senior Pastor selection process has been determined by our bylaws and we have created a Senior Pastor Search Committee comprised of our Elder Board and several members of the Senior Leadership Team. This process involves partnering with a reputable search firm, Vanderbloemen, to screen and recommend candidates to our Search Committee.
How long will the search take?
The Senior Pastor search will occur over the next year. Upon finding and choosing the final candidate, our sixth Senior Pastor will work alongside Pastor Ron for a period of several months during the transition. This will help to ensure a smooth transition on an organizational level, for our congregation, school and Learning Center communities.
How can I help?
Pray for the people and the process. Ultimately, Jesus Christ is the head of our church and its future is in His hands. Our Church, School, and Learning Center have been blessed with great members, staff and volunteers who will ensure Abundant Life’s future.
