Group Leader and Staff, Extended Day

The Extended Day staff support a safe, nurturing and Christ-centered environment for students. They are responsible for working with the administrative staff to implement student activities that are appropriate to the developmental needs of the children they serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing student supervision, homework help, and student activities.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining student behavior, classroom routines and expectations.
• Support the program coordinator in performing specific duties as assigned.
• Assume the lead role in absence of the coordinator.
• Monitor after school care for grade school students.
• Work in-person while school is in session and on specific special days for school events.

Schedule

• Part-Time (afternoon hours)

Experience

• Preferred study of education, child development or a related field.
• Work with elementary age students: 1-2 years (Preferred)

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $16-$21
