Senior Pastor Succession

We know Abundant Life as many things: a School, a Church, a spiritual home. Our Senior Pastor, Ron Grimley, has announced his plans to retire in August 2025 after serving in this ministry since 1990.

A search committee comprised of church Elders, representative members of the Senior Leadership Team, and congregants was formed in March 2023 to work with executive search firm Vanderbloemen to screen and recommend potential candidates for the role. We are excited to announce the hiring of Ray Hintz as our next Senior Pastor. His officially began in August 2024.

Pastor Ron will continue to lead alongside Ray until he retires. Upon Pastor Ron's retirement, Ray will be responsible for the overall spiritual health of the three ministries: church, school, and learning center. The church's day-to-day operations will be under his purview, while the day-to-day operations of the school and learning center will continue to be managed by the Senior Leadership Team.

Please join us in praying for Ray, his wife Carol, and their children (pictured above) as they leave their church, friends, and schools in Arizona to serve in our ministry here in Massachusetts.
